During 2nd Saturday ArtWalk, Downtown comes alive as each independent gallery, studio and art house opens their doors for this free event. Art aficionados and casual patrons alike will leave inspired as they explore the Downtown Lafayette Cultural District.

2ND SATURDAY ARTWALK
LAFAYETTE – See the Art – Buy the Art. Come early for the Rio Parade and stay for ArtWalk while exploring the Downtown Lafayette Cultural District as art galleries display works by the best of local and regional artists. Take a tour of the galleries during 2nd Saturday ArtWalk on from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., as the Downtown comes alive with more than a dozen galleries, museums restaurants and shops offering live music, food, drink and of course, art for purchase! In addition to galleries, businesses in the district showing works for ArtWalk include Artmosphere, The Ballet Academie, Bizarre Ink, Frederick’s Hair Studio, Grant St. Dancehall, Parish Ink, Recycled Cycles of Acadiana and Americas Coffee House. Also, don’t forget your discount on all art sold in the Downtown Lafayette Cultural District – original works are exempt from state sales tax.
